New Warrensburg health center: added space for pediatrics

To the Adirondack Journal:

We are pleased that the Adirondack Journal is keeping the public informed about the changes and improvements coming with the new Warrensburg Health Center — “Warrensburg Health Center plans revealed,” Dec. 1 edition.

One area that wasn’t mentioned in the article is our pediatric program, which serves youngsters from many communities.

Each year, the Warrensburg Health Center has 11,000 patient visits from children, adolescents and teens. More than 4,000 of these visits are sick youngsters who are seen, without appointments, in the health center’s urgent care department.

Pediatricians are available at the health center five days a week. To make sure that we can take care of everyone, the new health center will include more exam rooms and improved space.

We hope that our patients and their parents are as excited about the coming changes as we are.
